The study was named “The Correlation Between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and Internet Addiction in Vocational High School Students.” Dr. Natalia Dewi Wardani, Sp.K.J., and Dr. Widodo AS Bachelor, M.K.M., Sp.K.J. were the primary researchers for this study. This study was carried out in October 2022, and the findings were published in May 2023.
The primary goal of this study is to discover the link between Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) and cases of internet addiction among vocational high school students at Mitra Karya Mandiri Vocational School in Brebes.
The study was conducted at Mitra Karya Mandiri Vocational School in Brebes, with students serving as research subjects. The study’s findings indicate a link between internet addiction and FOMO. These findings provide light on the effect of FOMO on online addicted behavior among vocational high school students.
This study adds to our understanding of the elements that may promote internet addiction in vocational high school students. Understanding the association between FOMO and online addiction allows for the development of more effective preventative and intervention approaches to promote mental health and good internet use among students.
